My coming of age was the oil crisis, gas lines, unemployment, personal computers, computer games, dungeons and dragons, star wars, ronald reagan, Aids, Cocaine, MTV, Lamborghinis, and Neuromancer, Alien, Blade Runner, and Wall Street was descriptive of my generation’s ambitions. We were yuppies.

Computers were the big difference. We used BBS’s, newsgroups, and Compuserve Just like internet was the big difference of the 90/00’s and smartphones the 00/10’s.
