The value of fitness is in how you feel in general. Although it does help you get respect from others.

The value of preening is that you will get respect from others.

The value of manners is that you will get respect from others.

The value of ethics is that you will preserve any respect from others.

The value of money is … mostly in helping you get laid by better women.

After that, the value of money is directly proportional to whether you gain your joy from intellectual or experiential stimuli. It’s pretty cheap to love philosophy and literature, and really expensive to climb or ski the peaks. More expensive to engage in risky sexual relations. And much more expensive to engage in risky marriages that end in divorce.
