Sometimes, when I am designing a user interface, I just have to wait until my subconscious does its job. This morning it did its job.

I get as anchored as everyone else by my first sketches. But eventually I figure it out.

Today I figured out the frustrating usability problem with our Agenda feature. In retrospect it was obvious. But it wasn’t obvious a while ago.

Creativity cannot be forced. It can be created. But not forced.
