UK CONTRACT LAW VS US CONTRACT LAW
You know the UK law is structured as terribly front-loaded placing huge burdens on ALL individuals and organizations. It’s like everyone is afraid of losing a dime, and spends a hundred bucks to save every dime. But you know, I know the source of it: (a) British desire to demonstrate signaling through moral high ground (b) continental hatred of entrepreneurship and capitalism.
American law is back-loaded so that if problems arise they can be settled logically in court, placing burdens ONLY on individuals and organizations that have problems.
