“Because in Seattle I’m just another rich asshole. Nothing I do makes a difference. I’m just another rat in a rat race accumulating more toys. But here in Ukraine I make a difference. And that is the very top of the Maslowian pyramid of needs. And even better, I make a difference to people to are kind to me, and a government that wants me, in stead of a government that preys upon me, and a culture that demonizes me.”
