JUAN ORTIZ
Not that it matters particularly, and I only know second hand, but apparently Ortiz is up to his theatrics. So it’s worth setting the record straight.
1) I thought Oritz was just another dysfunctional Aspie. Andy Curzon was investing in him and so I did the same – mostly out of respect for Andy, who wanted to do in London what Roman is doing here in L’viv. Apparently Andy helped Juan come to London.
2) Ortiz was running out of money and clearly not making good decisions. So I gave him some work to do. The idea being that if he could start with simple work he could participate in something other than illegal-alien construction work.
3) I pre-paid him 2K USD to do some very simple business analysis filling out a spreadsheet with skills data.
4) He did next to nothing, but give me excuses for almost two months.
5) He asked me for more money. and I stated that our experiment had failed and my attempt to help him had originally been a luxury but now I must get the work done professionally.
6) Someone else here in L’viv did the work in four days – a few hours really.
7) Ortiz comes out as a critic.
I think “Yet another example of how no good deed goes unpunished.”
I’m a sucker for lost puppies. I know.
