The better question is, why don’t we give ALL our research and development money to the Billionaires to manage, and all our public institutions to these same people, because they are demonstrably, in every single case, in every single era beyond what government people (fail) do.

@studentactivism I understand that every single cent he puts to use is INFINITELY more valuable than every cent the USG puts to use. I undrestand that this is true for EVERY billionaire on earth. Govts return even less on every dollar than do charities. Gates specializes in getting returns.
