If we could not imitate, empathize, and sympathize we would not be able to cooperate, or detect defectors (cheaters), and baiters (predators). We can. We are extremely good at determining deceit. We have a defect that’s vulnerable to fictionalisms – most developed in Abrahamism.

@freedomismoral Why? Because we know people lie and why. In fact, the majority of work in legal cases ( like the majority of work I do counter lies by sophism, pseudoscience, and supernaturalism) is lie detection by the incremental disambiguation of context and deduction of incentives.
