Don’t fall for the Lewontin Fallacy. The total percent of genetic variation doesn’t tell us much when we don’t know which genes or how many of them cause neotonic, dimorphic, cognitive, and developmental differences. As far as I know it’s overall fitness (fewer errors).

@FernandoLeanme @curtdoolittle The most obvious problem with the idea is that, as per 23-and-Me and similar data, all Caucasians are VERY closely genetically similar. Moldovans are not 2% different from Germans. Yet, CULTURE varies wildly just among Caucasians – Germany’s income is 2000% of Moldova’s.
