@willwilkinson @nytopinion @BetoORourke Democracy CAN only function as (a) a means of overthrowing a failed government (b) a means of jurying a proposition by a government by a house of each class, (c) a means of selecting priorities from a set of common interests. But in conflict we can only trade w/o ir-reciprocity.
