The goal of the Russian Federation is to continue the war; to inflict economic losses on Ukraine; to destabilize the state in such a way as to avoid a further wave of sanctions. Without Ukraine’s response, the enemy will feel they can act with impunity – besides, it is a demonstration of Russian aggression in the face of the whole world. This policy will facilitate the provision of earlier sanctions inside the country, and such a situation can play a political role for the authorities in Ukraine. –“And, by any chance, are the oligarchs a target of this policy?”– It’s possible since they monopolize the television.
