Nigel Farage is perhaps the best *Statesman* for the *Anglosphere*. Just as Trump is the best *Anglophile* president of the USA we have had in at least a century.
And I am praying that the UK follows Trump’s example. I think there is a fair chance. And as a consequence we can convert our strategic ‘special relationship’ into an economic, political, and geopolitical one.
At that point the island nations of the anglosphere – the Five Eyes – have common security economic, political, cultural, linguistic and security interests.
If we succeed in that unification, the scandinavians will follow. Possibly the baltics. And after that it’s up to the germans to decide whether France or greater germania and the anglosphere are a better strategic partner.
IMO it’s very hard to see germany choose anglo over french – they are continental rather than naval states.
