You suggest something I should articulate explicitly.
(a) again, the wouldn’t have control other than regulatory. BUt the funding would happen where the private sector is having a serious problem producing it at the moment. And where some industries can’t be repatriated without federal investment (chip manufacturing, video panel and monitor manufacturing, even battery manufacturing and at present even primary chemicals for military arms.
(b) And this might be more important and I haven’t addressed it directly of late: there is a difference between public speech and public suggestion. The first is reciprocal and transparent, the second is irreciprocal and deceptive.
