THE FREE MARKET IS NOT THE ALTERNATIVE TO COMMUNISM SOCIALISM AND FASCISM.
I don’t think I’m disagreeing with you. I did consider adding ‘among the parties seeking a political economy after the devastation of WW1, the fascists were the least wrong’ by organizing the people and the economy for self interest against the divisiveness at both the market and communist ends of the spectrum. The problem with such statements is disentangling the propaganda from the context which is why it’s easy to play moral games with the subject. I’ll reinforce that all economies must be mixed economies, but the use of rule of law, fiat money, and state as venture capitalist with primacy to the citizens of that state, and secondarily to allies with the same goals, appears to be the best option. And in this option I may be failing to emphasize the distribution of power (influence) in the political structure I’m implying – is one of choosing the degree of influence by the population of responsibles, and those who are in the position of making decisions. There is utility in authority in defeat of time, there is utility of empiricism in achieving empirical ends, and there is a utility of preference in terms of the production of commons, and the failure to understand this as well as did our ancient ancestors is the failure of universal enfranchisement.
