Nope. You can’t ‘shut off your taps’ without total economic and political collapse. Numbers are what they are. The USA on the other hand knows that those who can pay the tariffs will, and those that won’t will die. And the impact on the people would be devastating. And the USA can source from anywhere. The worst that happens in the USA is we shift to buying basic resources from somewhere else, and companies that manufacture in canada would repatriate to the usa.
