I’m simply saying that doing so will produce agency and outcompete those who don’t, depriving those who don’t of agency, and leaving them behind (this is universal and incontestable). I would say the issue is letting a thousand nations bloom so that populations can sort by their tolerances for adaptability. And I would say that you are correct if your pursuit of innovation adaptation and evolution is such that you are no longer accumulating capital across the spectrum (physical, behavioral, informational) but consuming it as we have done of late.
