Charles: I’ve read everything you’ve written since Losing Ground, and you were influential in inspiring my participation in the libertarian movement. While I consider Hayek, Popper, Kuhn, Quine, Godel, Turing, Chomsky, Becker, Strawson, and Haidt, Bridgman, Brouwer, and Hilbert as well of course as Blackstone and Jefferson, those are matters of logical reduction and representation. But it’s quite often your voice in my mind when I’m working through it all. You are an amazing communicator whose traditional devotion to virtue never dims amid the data, even when the message is one we are somewhat loathe to hear.
