In a cline from southwest to northeast, europeans are an admixture of 1) the spectrum of european hunter gatherers (west north east), 2) Anatolian neolithic farmers, 3) Bronze Age Steppe Herders. And Steppe herders are an admixture of European Hunter Gatherers, Ancestral North Eurasians (Ghost population), and Iranic (South Eurasian) populations. Most of us are roughly 1/3,1/3,1/3, but a Sardinian, a Celt, a Scandinavian, a balto-slav, and a Norther russian (admixed with finno-ugric) vary from that average.
