Pravilno. Toda nekatere evropske države so zelo prevladujoče (Francija) in želijo biti. V ameriških državah to ne drži. In EU, kot je zasnovana, je preveč zapletena. Evropske države in EU so namenjene vladanju, država pa je suverena. Ameriška vlada je trg med državami in ljudje so suvereni. EU uporablja avtoritarno Napoleonovo pravo, medtem ko države uporabljajo empirično običajno pravo. Te razlike so videti subtilne, vendar so posledično globoke. In Francija je prav tako sovražnica svobode držav kot Rusija. Pogovorom po vsej Evropi torej manjka prefinjenosti, da bi združitev rešili brez tako resne razprave.

(Correct. But some european countries are very dominant (France) and want to be. This is not true in American states. And the EU as designed is too complicated. European countries and the EU are designed to govern, and the state is sovereign. The american government is a market between the states and the people are sovereign. The EU uses authoritarian Napoleonic law where the States use Empirical common law. These differences appear subtle but they are profound in consequence. And france is as much an enemy of the freedom of states as russia. So the conversation across europe lacks the sophistication to solve the unification without such serious discussion.)
