Unfortunately, my work requires I measure sex differences in judicial performance – including complaints over process and reasoning – in particular the capacity rule by law despite one’s emotions and biases. Kollar-Kelly is an example of why I, like other scholars, have come to the conclusion that it is a very rare women who can hold a judicial seat – so rare that there is no benefit to the risk of ascending any woman to the court.
