I don’t know Gates that well but my experience with him was uniquely inspiring, and my wealth in building tech companies was a product of leveraging his success. I’m so saddened. First the government tries to ruin him and his company, second his foundation ruins his reputation and legacy.
You would have to grasp the world he lives in due to the Gates foundation, the many handout seeking well meaning fools in the world, and the governments he must work with. So while in some sense I understand and feel compassion, he really has crashed and burned and it breaks my heart.
Jobs and Ellison were not good people. Gates was. 🙁
