(FWIW: High IQ didn’t hurt me, but then (a) I wanted girlfriends enough to pay the price, (b) I was never eager, and I kept my mouth shut about anything I was interested in and they weren’t – keeping it ‘all about them’, and (c) I had the fortune of good looks and that was enough to carry me. So, I can’t emphasize enough that both (b) and (c) are necessary for the high IQ crowd. And if you haven’t got the looks, only fitness and ‘style’ will serve you.)
