Assuming you can recognize the difference between irrational and rational versions of conspiracy and oppression narratives, the cause of the irrational is: the combination of alienation, the absence of feeling of control, saturation in subculture and group identity, inexperience with managing others at scale, lack of education in incentives to compensate (behavioral econ), biased by the sex difference in expression as feminine oppression vs masculine conspiracy, and amplified by traits disagreeableness and neuroticism.
