Well you know, it’s not like I treat the NLI staff any different than those in the for-profit’s I’ve founded or run. I’m just trying to advance them so they can divide the labor (and it works). If we can get you involved you can learn the material. If you can learn the material you can make a presentation. If you can make a presentation you can learn to write. If you can learn to write you can publish. If you can publish you can establish yourself as an authority. As an authority who has mastered the material you can answer questions, refute criticisms, and compose solutions.
