Listening to a group of well intentioned well informed men chat on Twitter Spaces tonight and surprised at the lack of knowledge of how revolutions and civil wars occur. How unpredictable they are. What conditions always exist – and they exist today. And then relying on pretty silly observations and presumptions. Partly I think because they presume the people who talk are the people who matter – they aren’t. The kind of men who cause revolutions don’t talk.
I’ve done a revolution. It’s easy.
