You’re correct, but that’s not a contradiction. There were equal complains that women were unsuited for political decisions – and that has overwhelmingly borne out. Given that sex differences in cognition are biases, and given that most of us overlap even if we never completely reverse, we should expect men with cognitively feminine bias, and women with cognitively masculine bias, even if never fully reversed (never happens). And this is overwhelmingly demonstrated in every single form of measurement we know of all the way up to voting behavior.
