I don’t think you understand my post. ;). Don’t all people advocate for their group’s preferential treatment?

And given that european (especially northern european) manners, ethics, morals, traditions, institutions,and knowledge are the most mentally, psychologically, and emotionally demanding, why wouldn’t groups advocate for their interests and lower standards of demand on behavior?

And why wouldn’t europeans who seek to protect those institution and their high costs, and the benefits or sortition by the behavioral payment of those costs seek to maintain competitive advantage for themselves and their people by preserving that demand, those costs, and the resulting benefits of those costs?

Humans act rationally. But we are not always compatible within the same polities. And as wealth increases, sexes, classes, and ethnicities composed of different distributions of classes, seek not uniformity by the cost of adaptation to costly and advantageous behaviors, but we always seek specialization by seeking to satisfy our instincts and intuitions by evading the costs of uniformity by adaptation to uniformity. (which was the big surprise of the later decades of the 20th c.
