Well, I posted it to attract commentary because I don’t agree with Todd’s analysis, because as usual, france did’t and doesn’t take responsibility for world finance trade and peace. And like a good frenchman he presumes politics can solve everything.

In my understanding yes, protestantism is the result of bipartite manorialism, the restortion of trade, but not in the med, but in the north sea to baltic to atlantic – and combined with the culture of the germanic peoples. Not the other way around.
