Data is data. Neoteny exchanges longer life, slower maturity, shallower maturity, lower aggression, for agency (self regulation) and and increased intelligence.

They are a much more conforming people with lower tolerance for, and capacity for the resolution of, conflict. Hence their face before truth and failure to solve the problem of politics.

In other words, neotenic evolution is like the story of the three bears. Too little is really bad, and too much isn’t necessarily good.
