While true, I”m not sure what this has to do with the conversation.
In addition I would add that in any scientific discipline almost all members are largely wrong, while at the margins of that discipline, over time, a small number (very small) are largely right. Meaning the more ‘merely adequate’ people in the sciences the more capital is misallocated away from the competent, and the more distorted the body of science becomes with the products of malincentives (in particular, the vast failures of the behavioral sciences).
