Sigh.. I’ve been doing this a very long time. It’s called king of the hill games. You post a position that can be interpreted ambiguously that provokes moral responses in order to determine the behavior of the respondents. This is one of the advantages social media has provided those of us who work research, in that we can overcome the problem of reported behavior by collecting demonstrated behavior.
Much of my research on lying, and in particular sex differences in lying was accomplished by this same method. In fact, your response is an instinctual one that is stereotypical for. your sex age and background.
You may not know this but we need as little as a few hundred words to profile you. Some social media sites can do so with as little as one hundred clicks.
This post follows a theme which I am currently exploring which is the individual’s experience with organizational scale, moral bias, virtue signal seeking, and the intersection with feminine oppression and masculine conspiracy expressions.
My primary concern is learning how to overcome the tendency of males to anchor on something systematic just as much as females anchor on something self righteous – both of which are shallow attempts to construct self image and status amidst the inability to produce material results in life by means only possible with greater demonstrated responsibility for other than themselves.
Cheers
