I have difficulty understanding how anyone could have a basic understanding of history and economics and try to justify the genocide against ukraine as other than fear by the RU ruling class that ukraine would follow poland and the other eastern european countries that were set backward by russian aggression into european levels of prosperity, just as China fears taiwan for the same: it delegitimizes failed governments.
