Because I did not (in either of you) recognize the source of the problem until I saw both you and Doug using it together. You’re important to me so I don’t push back on certain biases or shifts. And It’s often hard for me to distinguish your reasons for deviation from what I work on as something you’re emotionally working through because of local history and circumstance, or whether you’re missing what I’m saying. Usually if you’ve identified something you’re missing in what I’m saying it teaches me to refine my definitions and explanations.

This is just one more of those times. 😉
