Religions. New age religions. All are just another fictionalism (story) to satisfy the neuroticism that arises with the emergence of consciousness among social creatures, unable to obtain mindfulness given the alienation of post tribal life, and and the uncertainty of life. The only non-false religion is individual and group debt to the universe, nature, one’s people, one’s ‘polity’, ancestors, and heroes. Everything else is quite literally a self induced, socially constructed, opiate. “Checking out” and abandoning responsibility for every single thing possible.
