It’s meaningful. You’re correct. And education has sought to eliminate that oversight. However as we have found around the world, few women develop a monopoly of interest necessary to compete at the margins. Female brains are wide and in the present and male brains are narrow and in the future. I would say also that because of this, female intelligence does top out lower on average but, does not produce the behavioral divergence that male brains do. You need a to be on the spectrum a bit in order to think systematically enough to develop skills at the margins.
In other words stereotypes remain because brain structures remain.
