It aligns. Jung was very close. But we have so much more science today not only cognitive science but computer science and economics and law. Meaning we stand on the shoulders of giants so to speak. I work entirely from neuroscience on upward. So it’s more that my work demonstrates that Jung was largely on the right track (and that freud was not).
In other words if you explain a concept from Jung I can almost always translated it.
We used to have someone in our organization that was a n expert in the freudian system of thought and he could convert that framework to ours without effort.
