Thinking …. It’s only algorithmic during a bounded steady state (growth).
And that steady state is largely an historical phenom.
I’m not sure that’s going to continue going forward.
It MIGHT. But the world’s capital structures are going through trauma not seen before and I am not certain about previous regularities.
Anyway. Until about 2017 I could see the future pretty clearly and at present everything is taking longer than I thought OR adaptations are occurring faster than I thought so that momentum can’t build to produce the speed I expected.
All of us that predicted a major shift around 2030 were right. I was on the early side as usual because I give too much credit to the people. Others were right in their anticipation of the slow movement of the overton window.
