Possibly inebriated. 😉 I don’t do ‘high’ but occasionally ‘drunk’. And very occasionally, and usually, very publicly, because of course, I cannot control my gregariousness without conscious discipline, I do engage in inebriated honesty – which of course is a find scandinavian tradition of ensuring honestly during negotiations, and especially negotiations during a feast. 😉
Humans, by and large are wonderful beings. Superpredators desperately seeking evasion of superpredation so that we can enjoy the company of one another in celebration of the challenges, feast and festivals as well as comfort in our failures losses, tragedies and and catastrophes, either of which provides the joy, inspiration, safety, or solace, that binds us to one another despite our individual self interest and super predation.
I love humanity. I love every human whether fond and fair or despicable and seditious. Because together, despite the chaos of our waxing and waning, we slowly, fitfully, ascend into the gods we imagined, and render this universe a heaven, despite temporary hells.
I love mankind with all in me.
And if that is a failing then it is one I embrace with all my soul.
