I am one of the better living epistemologists and I do this work for a living. The fact that you cannot grasp what I just wrote means you are not sufficiently informed in the field to hold firm opinions on the matter.
I will agree that these are very complex subjects for historical reasons but that doesn’t mean that the underlying set of errors because of the overconfidence in the potential of mathematics isn’t trivial. It is. It just requires understanding the presumptions we hold because of the dominance of the history ofmathematics prior to the invention of computation.
