Some of us understand poetic prose and some of us take things literally, and some of us know which is which. In the context of the original post by the origional author it was clear he was using poetic prose.

Something we advice all those who come into contact with our organization and it’s members whether active or tangential, is that it’s usually useful to hang around a bit and begin to understand what we’re doing so that you can interpret statements in the context of the flow of conversation that without that context will not be understood.
