FWIW: You can’t use income or wealth as a proxy for intelligence because the advangage of intelligence declines (as his graph illustrates) with the DIRECT revenue potential of one’s work products – despite the indirect benifit to others from one them, while conscientiousness and the available market determine wealth, not intelligence – hence the declining advantage of the distribution in intelligence versus the flatter distribution of wealth.

FWIW: Taleb makes his argument because of his reverse racism on the one hand and is (BIG) error that the “Fat Tony” character is smart rather than immoral. Hence illustrating why Taleb’s reverse racism and his big error are related: he can’t look in the mirror.
