Yes. This is what Martin is concerned with. I’m just aware of the trade off between neologisms and refinement of definitions of existing terms of art. I prefer the latter whenever possible … partly because most philosophers (including my past self) have made the mistake of inventing neologisms rather than say, the continuation of refining a concept. For example, aristotelian, newtonian, einstein, and post-einstein gravity. Do we change the term gravity? No. But Gravity is something we understand no matter what – it’s inescapable – but we still seek to explain, while Rule of Law is a term of art that we need to explain and people will oversimplify given it’s decomposable into colloquial speech.
