I would have to see the amendment, but given the amendment process, I do not see it as more than a marketing attempt even if a good one.

We have exhausted discourse, we have exhausted argument, we have exhausted voting, and we have at present apparently exhausted legislation – though you can never count the american system out since we can adapt faster than all other civs combined – so we only have (a) the courts (b) a common law suit against the state (like the founders) or (c) revolution and a lot of ‘unpleasantness’ if that suit fails to produce a difference. This will require about 2M men.
