That’s right. Purpose. Purpose requires intent. There is no intent. There is no purpose. All we can determine so far is that it appears that universes (meaning some section of the broader universe) for some reason or other, contract and then explode, and as the explosion dissipates almost all pressure is externalized into space, and a small percentage is concentrated into protoparticles, particles, and the most simple of elements. Then suns form and explode and produce more complex elements. There is no purpose to this. It’s we who determine purpose for ourselves.
