The age of religion is over. the need for mindfulness, standards of behavior, explanatory narratives, group strategy, will never end. I’m quite sure that we see the re-emergence of the ‘greek way’ with the odd difference that the feminine version of stoicism is some sort of self help nonsense. But we see it emerging of it’s own volition. How to convert it into something coherent and educable is going to take work.
