Any man that doesn’t go through a libertarian phase has no ethics, and any that doesn’t mature into a conservative has no understanding of man.
IMO it’s a good thing if young men go through a libertarian phase. It’s also a good thing if mature men understand that while it’s a moral ambition at personal scale, it’s a practical impossibility at national or global scale.
In other words, the left is totally incapable of understanding scale behond family or village, the libertarians fall into a similar trap of not understanding how to scale beyond the rural town and city state.
Or in the case of Rothbardians, the separatist diaspora that survives by parasitism on a host population that pays all the costs of commons.
