AS US IQ DECLINES: WORTH REGULAR REPOSTING
The percent of the population that is all but unemployeable was 16%. It is heading to 25% as immigration increases, reproductive asymmetry remains, and as a result IQ decreases.
What are we going to do with a modern economy where a quarter of the population is unemployable? What are we going to do with the clerical white collar workers (women) that have expanded since the computer revolution in the 1980s. The laborers were hurt by mechanization, and the white collar workers who shuffle information are going to be hurt by AI. What if we can’t find anything that’s more than subsistence level for more than a quarter, to maybe a third of the population?
