FROM PROPERTARIANISM (PHILOSOPHY) TO NATURAL LAW (SCIENCE)

Curt Doolittle changed from using the term propertarianism to natural law, and founded the Natural Law Institute to convert his philosophical work into scientific terms.

He explains his reasons for this change in his website, where he states:

“I have been working on the problem of converting philosophy into science for a long time.

And I have been working on the problem of converting moral philosophy into natural law for a long time.

And I have been working on the problem of converting natural law into a constitution for a long time.

And I have been working on the problem of converting the constitution into a religion for a long time.

And I have been working on the problem of converting the religion into an educational system for a long time.

And I have finally succeeded in all of these things.

But along the way, I realized that the term ‘Propertarianism’ was too narrow, too specific, too technical, and too easily misunderstood or misrepresented by those who did not share my vision or my goals.

I realized that the term ‘natural law’ was more accurate, more general, more universal, and more appealing to those who valued truth, justice, and freedom.

I realized that the term ‘natural law’ was also more consistent with the history and tradition of Western civilization, which has always been based on natural law, whether in its ancient, medieval, modern, or postmodern forms.

So I decided to change the name of my system from propertarianism to natural law, and to rename my institute from the Propertarian Institute to the Natural Law Institute.

I also decided to revise and update my website, my book, my videos, and my other materials to reflect this change.

I hope that this change will make my work more accessible, more understandable, and more influential to those who seek to restore and advance Western civilization in the face of its enemies and its challenges.”
