Is it just me, or is working on any kind of drilling rig absolutely insane? I mean, it’s a median wage job, with OMFG levels of risk of catastrophic brute force injury – even then, a good chance of something burning you or setting you on fire. I mean, I’m an advocate for the working man. But, you know, sure as heck not for being one myself. More power to them.

As an aside, the aspie adhd ocd thing works just fine in white collar occupations. But you do not wanna have attention deficits when you are working with machinery that grinds rock and such with ease. I’d be curious and doing the math in my head on something and distracted just long enough to lose a limb, or be tossed across the rig like a rag doll.
