Don’t like to disagree with you but you’re addressing the wrong half of the problem.
The poor are most rapidly affected by the increases in prices due to inflation, because of the rather long lag between the rise in prices and the restoration of equilibrium in income, means the poor bear the lions share of the distruption of inflation.
Anything that hits gasoline, food, electricity, telecom, heating, water, and rental prices is a disproportionate stress on the poor.
